This was a class action case filed on behalf of 4500 class members against the defendant, a home loan refinancing company for Truth in Lending Act (TILA) violations. The Defendant in closing refinanced loans from January 2005 through January 2008 failed to disclose the due dates and periods of payments scheduled to repay the loan as required under TILA.
Without this disclosure, the Plaintiffs had no way of knowing when their payment was due.
A $900,000.00 settlement was reached on behalf of the class members.
