Plaintiff left her place of employment early one morning and was driving along a highway when a dump truck came up beside her and swerved over into her lane, striking her vehicle. Plaintiff lost control of her car and ended up in a side ditch area; totaling her car and causing injuries to her back and neck. After suit was filed, the parties agreed on a settlement including compensation for personal injury and property for a total of $45,000.00.
